The Signature of Aoud
Aoud is built around what ROJA calls the holy trinity of oud perfumery: oud wood, the freshness of rose and the smoothness of saffron. Lemon, bergamot and verbena open brightly before Rose de Mai, Jasmin de Grasse, geranium and ylang ylang bring a floral glow. In the base, rhubarb, cinnamon, nutmeg and saffron add tension, while aoud, leather, ambergris, sandalwood and vanilla give the composition depth, warmth and remarkable lasting power.
