Inspiration
In monasteries and palaces, myrrh and frankincense were burned to purify a space and bring it to silence. Laura Tonatto translated her Amir into a candle, so that the same calm can arise at home as evening falls and the light grows low.
Fragrance Family
Amber and resinous
The Olfactive Composition
Main notes: Myrrh, incense, amber
The Signature of Amir
Once lit, the candle opens with clear incense. Myrrh makes the air deeper and slightly bitter, amber leaves a sweet warmth hanging in the room.
What our ParfuMaria team thinks of this fragrance
This candle often burns in our shop on dark November afternoons, and customers keep asking about it. It smells calm and resinous, never smoky or heavy. After an hour the whole room is filled, and the scent lingers long after you blow it out. We light it with a bath, a book or a dinner with friends.
