Amber Aoud

Inspiration
This set pairs Amber Aoud Parfum in 50 ml with a handy 10 ml travel bottle. Roja Dove created the scent as a tribute to the Arabian perfume tradition, using gum resins that have been prized for centuries. Cinnamon, saffron and benzoin lay the warm base, Rose de Mai and fig spread a soft sweetness over it.

The Signature of Amber Aoud
In the scent itself everything revolves around the contrast between resin and flower. Lemon, bergamot and lime open briefly and brightly, after which rose, jasmine and ylang-ylang form a rounded heart together with the fig. In the base, oud, birch and oakmoss create a dry, slightly smoky structure beneath the soft balsams. With the mini at hand, that warmth can be topped up at any moment.

We find this one of the loveliest gifts from the house: the large bottle for home, the small one for the bag or a trip. The scent moves from fresh citrus to a golden heart of rose and saffron, and after a few hours ends in a soft, resinous glow. A spritz from the mini revives the spicy opening once the night is under way. We like to give it in the festive months, to anyone who loves warm Eastern scents. A set for anyone treating themselves or someone else to something special.
