Acqua Santa means holy water. Linari describes the scent as clean and innocent, as clear as crystal. It is the only Eau de Parfum of the brand composed by Maurice Roucel, the self-taught French perfumer based in New York, known for his free, fearless style.

The Signature of Acqua Santa
Cheerful fruity notes of Sicilian bergamot and cassis join warm, spicy accords of coriander, Javanese patchouli and green leaves. They are surrounded by a bouquet of rose petals, wild jasmine, ylang-ylang, violet and lily of the valley. Then sweet caramel intertwines with musk, tonka bean and cedarwood into a warm, sensual base.

Acqua Santa does smell very clean on the first spray, with cassis and a fresh green leaf. What surprised us is how soft and warm it then becomes: the caramel and tonka are subtle, like a scent that clings to your jumper. The flowers keep it airy. It is a scent almost everyone likes, which is why we often give it as a present. We wear it on ordinary working days, when we want to feel well groomed.
