Inspiration
Woud, the Dutch word for an ancient forest, is no accident in the name. The house pictured the deep forests north of Istanbul, where light barely reaches through the canopy, the ground smells of resin and charcoal burners let their fires smoulder.

Woud & Mood Absolute is the house's most serious scent, and a small treasure for wood lovers. After a short, fresh start it soon turns smoky and resinous, with saffron that feels like a leather glove. Around the second hour the oud rises, dry and noble, without the barnyard side that puts some people off. It easily lasts twelve hours. Save it for cold winter evenings, an open fire or a concert. We recommend it to anyone who loves leather and wood with character.
