Inspiration
Veles is the Slavic god of chaos and the underworld, serpent and flame at once. His scent is one of roots and ruins, sacred earth and primal fire. Ginger, saffron, rhubarb and honey open. Smoke, tonka, patchouli and labdanum form a dark heart. Oud, birch tar, leather and amber give a smoky base.

Veles is pure drama, in the best sense. The opening surprises us every time: rhubarb and ginger, tart and fresh, with honey sweetening it and saffron lending a golden sheen. Then it turns. The smoke rises, the labdanum grows resinous, and in the base we smell birch tar and oud, like a campfire that has burned all night. Yet it stays wearable, thanks to amber and tonka keeping it warm. We wear it on stormy evenings, with a glass of whisky or a dark film. For lovers of smoke and oud.
