Inspiration
Francesca Bianchi is driven by the idea of an 'Emotion Generator Machine': scents designed specifically to spark emotions. With The Code of Emotion she set out to decode the mechanism of that emotional response. She started from the familiar fougère structure and pushed its limits with an unexpected accord of tropical fruits, centred on juicy mango, without a single animal ingredient.

The Code of Emotion is the most cheerful Francesca Bianchi, and a lovely surprise for those who know her darker work. Mango with lavender sounds odd but works brilliantly: juicy, aromatic and sunny. The oakmoss keeps it firmly in the tradition of the men's fougère. Wear it in summer, as a fresh scent with humour. Lovely for daytime.
