The Chronic

Inspiration
The Chronic comes from Byron's Narcotique collection and evokes a club night in which thick smoke rings drift slowly through the room. LARCHITECT wanted to capture the sultry atmosphere of such an evening, with spices, leather and amber as the main characters. Today it is a classic within the Byron repertoire.

The Signature of The Chronic
Cinnamon and pepper open warm and spicy, with a tingling heat. Amber, leather and patchouli form a dark, smoky middle that defines the scent's nocturnal character. Sandalwood and white musk soften the base and make it creamy, so the leather never turns hard. It is a spicy amber perfume that feels warm and enveloping.

The small size of The Chronic is ideal to slip into your bag for a night out. It works best in cold weather, when the cinnamon and amber really come into their own. By midnight a soft, leathery amber is what remains with sandalwood that you can smell late into the night. This bottle is also a great introduction to the Narcotique line, especially for someone fond of spicy, warm scents.
