The Mariner's Rhyme

Inspiration
The Mariner's Rhyme captures the essence of a mariner on a stormy sea, with a metallic edge like a razor blade, ozonic cold storm winds and the dark depth of the ocean. Inspiration came from Coleridge's The Rime of the Ancient Mariner, Iron Maiden's adaptation and above all King Crimson's Sailor's Tale. No animal-derived ingredients have been used.

For us, The Mariner's Rhyme is a scent with a quiet confidence of its own: contemplative, dramatic and understated. On the skin the scent opens with bergamot and grapefruit, bright and inviting during the first half hour. Then orange flower and iris take over and the composition reveals its true character. After three to four hours it settles into ambergris and oakmoss, a soft, personal finish that lingers well into the day on skin and clothing. We like to wear it best in spring and summer, during the day and on warm evenings. A scent for those seeking a fresh marine scent with depth and drama.
