Stokksnes

Inspiration
Stokksnes is a peninsula in the southeast of Iceland, where the Vestrahorn rises steeply from a beach of black volcanic sand. Almah stood there and saw how water, wind and lava formed one landscape. To show that black in the bottle as well, the house tinted the extrait dark with plant materials.

The Signature of Stokksnes
The scent is built from few, but highly concentrated materials. Leather and tobacco give a dark, slightly smoky core, amber wood makes it warm and radiant, myrrh adds a bitter, almost church-like resin. Castor oil gives a soft, oily texture that keeps the scent close to the skin.

For us Stokksnes is the most powerful scent of Almah. It opens bold with leather and tobacco, turns warmer after an hour thanks to the amber wood and then stays for hours as a dark, resinous aura. One drop is enough for the whole day. Keep it for the dark months, for cold evenings or when a bold signature is called for. For men, and for women who love leather.
