Spell 125

Inspiration
Spell 125 is Papillon's seventh fragrance, released in the house's seventh year, on the seventh day of the seventh month. In ancient Egypt seven was considered the number of the gods, and these esoteric connections thread through both inspiration and composition. Perfumer Liz Moores began her collection with Anubis, inspired by ancient Egypt, and with Spell 125 she closes the circle.

The Signature of Spell 125
White ambergris and Siberian pine open bright and mineral, after which black hemlock and green sacra frankincense evoke a resinous, almost ritual atmosphere. Ylang softens the heart, and Indian sandalwood gives the scent a creamy, warm depth that lingers long on the skin.

Spell 125 moves us with its balance between white ambergris and ylang: refined, without ever becoming loud. On the skin we notice how white ambergris and siberian pine set the tone in the first hour, after which black hemlock and green sacra frankincense slowly come forward. After several hours mainly ylang and Indian sandalwood remain, close to the skin and ever more personal. We like to wear it best in autumn and winter, on quiet evenings. A scent for lovers of conifers, incense and scents with a spiritual side.
