Rubis Imperial moves us with its balance between Italian lemon and labdanum: refined, without ever becoming loud. On the skin the scent opens with Italian lemon and citrus accord, bright and inviting during the first half hour. Then lavender and Indonesian patchouli take over and the composition reveals its true character. After three to four hours it settles into labdanum and musk, a soft, personal finish that lingers well into the day on skin and clothing. We like to wear it best all year round, during the day and at the office. A scent for lovers of lavender with citrus and amber.
