For us, Rose Intense is Layer's most grown-up rose. The pepper and carnation lend it something of a classic men's scent, while the rose stays full and romantic. We find it lovely for a candlelit dinner, or on an autumn day with a dark coat. On the skin the cypriol becomes ever clearer, giving it a smoky, woody edge. Anyone looking for a rose with character rather than sweetness will fall in love with this.
