In the Extrême version it is later in the day in the garden. The sun stands higher, the flowers give off their scent generously, and the stone paths have soaked up the warmth of the afternoon.

The citrus of mandarin and bergamot is more restrained here. Centifolia rose, magnolia and jasmine step forward, with iris and ylang as soft companions, and ambrette, white amber and sandalwood carry it for a long time.

Anyone who finds the Eau de Parfum a little too short-lived should try this one. We notice the rose takes more of the lead here, and the base really starts to smell of warm skin. It is more romantic and fuller, which also makes it lovely for evenings. Our favourite of the three for anyone who wants one bottle for the whole year.
