Inspiration
Purple Trouble revolves around one idea: wild blackberry that stays juicy and fresh, challenged by an unexpected spark of red chili. Romano Ricci describes the blackberry as a fruit that is neither shy nor too polished. He wanted to give it texture and character, so that it remains fruity, wild and fresh at once.
Fragrance Family
Fruity, musky and spicy
The Olfactive Composition
Top notes: Wild blackberry
Heart notes: Red chili
Base notes: Musks, Ambroxan
The Signature of Purple Trouble
The blackberry is lively and juicy, with a slight tension that keeps the scent from being merely sweet. Then the red chili appears, not as a dominant spice but as a warm tingle. Musks and ambroxan make the base soft and sensual, with a modern, self-assured presence.
What our ParfuMaria team thinks of this fragrance
We consider Purple Trouble one of the brand's most exciting launches in years. There are plenty of fruity scents, but the chili gives this blackberry something truly its own. After an hour on the skin it turns softer and musky, which makes it surprisingly wearable. We like it in autumn, when the blackberries ripen along the hedgerows.
