POLISH • POTATOES is a fragrance built around memory, nature and the atmosphere of a Polish market. Michał Gilbert Lach, founder and creative director of BOHOBOCO, drew inspiration from childhood memories of visiting the market with his grandparents and transformed those experiences into an unexpected olfactory composition.

The opening combines leather, grass, wheat, beetroot and pine, creating an earthy, green and tactile impression. Rather than following a conventional fresh opening, the composition immediately evokes cultivated land, vegetation and natural materials.

At the heart, the Polish potato accord takes centre stage alongside rose, heliotrope and clove. This unusual combination gives the fragrance its distinctive identity. The earthy and subtly sweet character of potato is surrounded by floral softness and warm spice, creating a surprisingly sophisticated interpretation of a humble ingredient.

Beetroot and earth create a distinctly natural and mineral opening, while wheat and grass introduce a dry green facet. Leather adds contrast and a tactile quality to the composition.
