Orchidée Rouge is Sora Dora’s most beautiful travel tale. On their journeys across the Indian Ocean, the family gathered numerous black vanilla extracts, brought together in a deep concentrate that carries the scent to warm, exotic lands.

Bergamot, Ceylon cinnamon and orange open warm. Black vanilla, elemi, ylang-ylang and heliotrope form the heart, with almond milk, before benzoin, rum, caramel and white musk give a round, powdery finish.

Orchidée Rouge is, for us, a scent that reveals itself slowly, with a exotic, powdery character that lingers. On the skin the scent opens with Italian bergamot and ceylon cinnamon, bright and inviting during the first half hour. Then elemi and black vanilla take over and the composition reveals its true character. After three to four hours it settles into almond milk and siam benzoin, a soft, personal finish that lingers well into the day on skin and clothing. We like to wear it best in autumn and winter, on cool evenings and at dinner. A scent for lovers of rich vanilla with an exotic edge.
