The champaca flower is one of Francesca Bianchi's obsessions. It is a refined flower with an irresistibly sensual character, which in her view blends perfectly with leather. In Obsessive Devotion she lets the two find each other in a hypnotic, intense and yet elegant composition.

Bergamot and grapefruit open fresh and clear. A velvety heart of peach, pink pepper, ylang-ylang and champaca then blooms. Iris, smoky leather, oakmoss, patchouli and sandalwood give the base a chypre-like depth that lingers on the skin.

We find Obsessive Devotion the most elegant scent of Hedonik. The champaca is creamy and slightly fruity, and the peach enhances that, but the smoky leather and oakmoss keep everything taut and grown-up. We like to wear it by day in autumn, when a floral scent may carry a little more weight. It stays beautiful on the skin for a long time, and towards evening the iris comes forward with a soft powderiness. A lovely choice for those who love floral chypres with a contemporary twist.
