Inspiration
Not a Perfume consists of one single ingredient, Cetalox. Normally this molecule plays a supporting role in a formula, here it takes the lead. The result is minimalist, elegant and pure, and it became the house's iconic scent. Romano Ricci also made it for people sensitive to allergens, as the formula is strikingly simple.

The Signature of Not a Perfume
Cetalox smells clean, lightly woody with an amber feel and a soft, almost saline skin tone. Because there is nothing else in it, it smells slightly different on every skin. Projection is moderate, but the scent lingers for a long time and returns in waves.

Not a Perfume may well be the most worn scent of the brand in our team. It does not smell like perfume, but like you on your very best day. We think it is brilliant for layering, as it makes any other scent warmer and longer-lasting. Sometimes you briefly stop noticing it yourself, while colleagues ask what you are wearing.
