Mr. Keops

Inspiration
For Mr. Keops, Jaume and Jordi Magrans went back to ancient Egypt, the age of the great pyramid and of a gold that coloured everything in the temple. The story tells of a formula from an old bazaar in Cairo, with oils from both shores of the Mediterranean. It is one of the scents in which the family's craft can be smelled most clearly.

The Signature of Mr. Keops
With more than forty essential oils Mr. Keops is a rich fabric, yet it stays clear. Citrus and light red spices open warm and gleaming, myrrh brings a balsamic, slightly bitter resin and vetiver gives a dry, earthy ground. The colour of the scent is gold, the house says, and gold is what you smell.

We often name Mr. Keops when we want someone to discover Almah. The spices leap up at once, then the myrrh becomes soft and soothing and the vetiver lingers all day like a warm shadow. Beautiful in the cool season, at the office as much as on an evening out. For those who love oriental scents with a natural, artisanal feel.
