Inspiration
Misk is musk, Begum the title of a woman of standing. Tola imagines a young woman walking through a palace garden early in the morning, past arabesques and fountains, while dew still rests on the flowers. She is hopeful and a little wistful at once, and a light musk hangs around her.

To us Misk Begum smells like clean sheets in a sunny room with the windows open. The pear is the first thing you notice, juicy but not candied, and then everything turns powdery with orris and heliotrope. After a few hours a musk remains that sits so close to your own skin that people ask which cream you use. We find it beautiful for the office, a daytime wedding or a first date. Anyone who loves soft, polished perfumes but still wants some character ends up with this one. We also like to mist a little cloud of it into our hair.
