The Story of the Brand
Founder Hadi Masmoum is a native of the Middle East and grew up surrounded by perfume. A cosmopolitan entrepreneur shaped by travels and encounters, he developed a passion for France and studied perfumery in Grasse. With renowned perfumers and French designers he brought his vision to life. The name refers to the rose: 'Jouri' is Arabic for the Damask rose, a heritage icon of the house.
The Signature of the House
Majouri perfumes are made in France from blend to bottle. Each eau de parfum is built with rare, precious ingredients for a remarkable sillage and longevity. The bottle, created by French designers, has a warm golden cap like a rising sun and textured glass adorned with arabesques, a tribute to the brand's Middle Eastern roots. All bottles are endlessly refillable with individually sold refills.
Collections
The house works with four collections. Portraits (such as 1982, Secret Love and The One and Only) are olfactive portraits; Genesis (Gold Noir, Oriental Soul) links Oriental mysteries with French refinement; Quest (Blanc Sesame, Bohemian Tea, Imperial Vanilla, Silky Sandalwood, Sweet Ambrette) each pursues one raw material; and the Jour collection (Jour 8, Jour 11, Jour 21) translates special days into scent. Perfumers such as Cyrill Rolland, Christian Vermorel, Jennifer Jambon, Sophie Truitard and Wessel-Jan Kos sign the compositions.
