The Story of the Brand
Marie and Arthur worked together at the Paris design agency Centdegré and noticed that almost every luxury brand talked about seduction, power or success. So in 2019 they started their own house, with a wink in the name: Matine refers to mutine, rebellious, and to matin, morning. Marie grew up in Grasse, Arthur comes from Brittany. The scents are made in Paris, Grasse and Chartres from organic wheat alcohol, and every bottle carries its own illustration by in-house designer Mathilde.
