For us, Mortal Skin captures exactly what makes niche perfumery special: a hypnotic, warm scent with a clear signature. On the skin the scent opens with blackberry and saffron, bright and inviting during the first half hour. Then sandalwood and opoponax take over and the composition reveals its true character. After three to four hours it settles into labdanum and musk, a soft, personal finish that lingers well into the day on skin and clothing. We like to wear it best in autumn and winter, on cool evenings and at dinner. A scent for lovers of creamy sandalwood with spice and fruit.
