Inspiration
Noir goes on where L'Air du Désert Marocain stops, into the night. The stones still hold the warmth of the day and the sky turns black and open. There is more cistus, more resinous warmth and a drier amber. Bergamot, lemon and petitgrain add the cool glint of distant stars. Labdanum, leather and jasmine sit at its core, with ambergris, oakmoss, cedar, vetiver and patchouli beneath.

Noir is the scent we reach for when we have long worn the original and want more shadow. The citrus keeps it airy at first, but within ten minutes it turns resinous and leathery, almost black. The finest moment comes after a few hours, when the oakmoss rises and everything turns a little dusty and antique. It is dense and easily lasts until the next morning. One spray on the neck is enough. We wear it in winter, on a night out or at home by the fire. For lovers of leather and amber who dare to go darker.
