Inspiration
Imperator is inspired by the emperors of ancient Rome and celebrates the splendour, regality and strength of the great generals who made Rome great. Sweet woods, leathery accents, flowers and spices of the empire form a soft, shimmering juice, like precious oriental silk.

The Signature of Imperator
An opening of bay leaf, cardamom, oregano, pink pepper, saffron and bergamot sets the tone. At the heart, rose Centifolia, Egyptian jasmine absolute, hazelnut and immortelle unfold, before Tuscan cypress, musk, frankincense, myrrh, sweet woods and plum give the scent a lasting, warm finish.

Imperator is, for us, a scent that reveals itself slowly, with a regal, spicy character that lingers. On the skin the scent opens with bay leaf and cardamom, bright and inviting during the first half hour. Then rose Centifolia and Egyptian jasmine absolute take over and the composition reveals its true character. After three to four hours it settles into Tuscan cypress and musk, a soft, personal finish that lingers well into the day on skin and clothing. We like to wear it best on autumn and winter evenings, for a special occasion. A scent for lovers of spicy, woody scents with grandeur.
