For us Histoire d'Orgeat is the most charming gourmand of the house. The fig leaf keeps the almond from turning too sweet, and the heliotrope lends it an old-fashioned elegance, like a powder compact from days gone by. On skin it grows softer and sunnier. We wear it on days when we need comfort, and notice colleagues stand just a little closer. Sweet, but certainly not childish.
