Inspiration
Hidden Shades is inspired by the work of artist Iris Roth, in which matter plays the lead: the colours, the rough texture, the layers. Maurizio Cerizza translated that tangibility into scent for The House of Oud.

The Signature of Hidden Shades
Lemon, bergamot and mirabelle open fruity. Cherry blossom, jasmine and cistus form the heart, and tonka, vanilla, sandalwood, patchouli, benzoin and sheer musk lay the warm foundation.
What our ParfuMaria team thinks of this fragrance
Hidden Shades is a scent you only truly get to know by wearing it a full day. The mirabelle is soft and golden, the cherry blossom sweet and powdery. Only after a few hours do you feel the cistus, laying a resinous, almost leathery texture into it, like paint on canvas. In the base it turns warm and creamy. We choose it for days spent in a museum or gallery, and it suits a linen coat perfectly.
