Hera extrait de Papillon perfume was specially created by Liz Moore for her oldest daughter to wear on her wedding day. Originally it was only for her, but her daughter Jasmine really wanted Hera to be shared with the rest of the world and that makes us very happy.

Liz has incorporated some of her favorite perfumes into Hera and those of her daughters, this gives the extrait the perfume a beautiful emotional charge and that makes Hera even more unique. Hera is festive and chic with a subtle nod to vintage scents from a bygone era.

Hera opens with a bouquet full of rich flowers of jasmine, orange blossom, rose de mai, Turkish rose, iris, narcissus and ylang. Heliotrope, ambrette, vanilla, labdanum and musk combine perfectly with the bouquet full of flowers and leave a rich fragrance experience on the skin with a soft powdery and vintage touch. A beautiful refined fragrance. We found this fragrance to be classy without any fuss. Classy and for special occasions.

Nice side effect, the print on the bottle is silkscreened in gold. The gold print contains real particles of gold.

“This perfume was created for me by my Mother, Liz, to wear on my wedding day. I didn't give much direction for the smell, but she captured past, present and future in Hera. When I was in my teens, I would steal her Shalimar before nights out. Back then, it was definitely a perfume that wore me, but I loved it anyway. Although I don't wear it anymore, it has become so beautifully nostalgic. Hera captures that classic, vintage feel in a completely new way.On the day of my wedding, gold was a big feature; every detail had to be gold! Hera is a 'gold' perfume for me. I was married in the Autumn and I see Hera as a blaze of glowing autumn colours, but with the lingering flush of summer flowers still being lifted on the wind. And to the future.
