Inspiration
Everything in Heraud turns on one raw material: double-distilled cocoa absolute from the Ivory Coast. Bourbon bergamot and bitter cocoa open together. Then the cocoa becomes fruity and milky, with dried dates and a hint of white flowers. Dry timber, spicy cedar, vanilla, powdery musk and ambergris keep that richness taut, so it never becomes dessert.

The Signature of Heraud
Bitter cocoa with a twist of bergamot, like a bar of dark chocolate with orange peel. The dates make the heart sweet and sticky. Cedar and musk then dry it off neatly.
What our ParfuMaria team thinks of this fragrance
Anyone who associates cocoa with sweet gourmands will be pleasantly surprised by Heraud. The first impression is bitter, almost powdery, with bergamot freshening it up. After an hour you taste the dates, and then it gains a milky warmth, but never sticky, because the cedar keeps drawing a dry line through it. Late in the day a soft musk with vanilla clings to your skin, which colleagues notice as you walk past. We wear it on grey winter days and with a glass of red wine. For chocolate lovers looking for a grown-up, woody version.
