Inspiration
Grimoire by Anatole Lebreton evokes the atmosphere of a monastery herb garden behind old stone walls, where basil and lavender warm in the sun while the air inside stays cool and quiet. The opening feels green and aromatic, bright and almost therapeutic, like opening a window onto crushed herbs and clean air. Then incense rises like a soft veil, dry and contemplative, with elemi adding a resinous glow. In the base, the fragrance becomes intimate and slightly animalic: cumin, patchouli, moss and musk create a dusty, paper like depth that recalls libraries, parchment and rituals.

What our ParfuMaria team thinks of this fragrance
Grimoire is not a loud incense scent, it is a calm, hypnotic aura that stays close to the body yet feels incredibly distinctive. We love the contrast of aromatic herbs, dry incense and that warm cumin base, it reads intellectual, sensual and unmistakably niche. Ideal if you enjoy incense with hints of skin, paper and quiet mysticism.
