Inspiration
Attendre & Espérer, the Frapin family motto, was composed by Maebh Mac Curtin. Moroccan neroli, Italian lemon and Indian black pepper open brightly, then cardamom from Guatemala and Mexican iris form a powdery, spicy heart. A walnut accord with Haitian vetiver and Atlas cedar gives a dry, gourmand woodiness.

Attendre & Espérer is, for us, a scent that reveals itself slowly, with a refined, nutty character that lingers. On the skin the scent opens with neroli and lemon, bright and inviting during the first half hour. Then cardamom and iris take over and the composition reveals its true character. After three to four hours it settles into walnut accord and vetiver, a soft, personal finish that lingers well into the day on skin and clothing. We like to wear it best all year round, during the day and at the office. A scent for lovers of iris, nuts and dry woods.
