Éveil du Faune is a fragrance of metamorphosis. The green glow of candied angelica blends with the animal sensuality of leather and the smoky swirls of tobacco. Deep in the forest of Foloi, the faun awakens, playful and carefree, on a carpet of damp leaves as the first autumn sunlight filters through the trees, until a strange heat spreads through his body.

Perfumer Alienor Massenet imagined Éveil du Faune as a tension between vegetal softness and animal sensuality. Angelica brings an almost innocent, luminous radiance, green and gently sweet through its candied facet, while davana adds a fruity, liqueur-like warmth. Leather, narcissus and musk form a heart that feels skin-like and instinctive; narcissus naturally has a hay-like, faintly animalic depth. In the base, tobacco, oud and patchouli provide smoke and earth. It is a fragrance of transformation, in which the senses slowly awaken.
