Inspiration
Epona, a tribute to the Celtic goddess of horses, embodies perfumer Liz Moores' cherished memories of the bond with her beloved horse in the English countryside. It captures warm summer days among sweet hayfields and the caress of the sun, the scent of a cherished saddle and of a horse's coat, and the care lavished on a faithful companion.

The Signature of Epona
The strength of leather and the sweet dance of hay on a summer's eve, with the velvet warmth of horse hide above it all. Delicate violets dance in the last sunbeams, while a saddle soap accord brings brightness and opoponax gives the whole a soft, resinous honeyed tone.
What our ParfuMaria team thinks of this fragrance
In our salon, Epona stands out for its interplay of opoponax and saddle soap accord: elegant and full of nuance. On the skin we notice how leather sets the tone in the first hour, after which opoponax and violet slowly come forward. After several hours mainly saddle soap accord and hay absolute remain, close to the skin and ever more personal. We like to wear it best in late summer and autumn, during the day and in the countryside. A scent for those who love leather with a soft, floral and nostalgic side.
