Between sleeping and waking lies a brief instant in which dreams still feel real. On that borderline Cristian Calabrò together with Andrea Casotti built Empathy, one of the best-known scents of The House of Oud.

The Signature of Empathy
Pear blossom and raspberry flower are wrapped in warm, faintly herbal davana. At the heart a juicy raspberry rests on fruity tobacco; oud, silver fir, benzoin, moss and scorched wood add depth.

What our ParfuMaria team thinks of this fragrance
Empathy is a mainstay in our boutique. People smell it on a blotter, walk away and return an hour later because they cannot get it out of their heads. The raspberry and tobacco form a pairing both sweet and smoky, and the davana adds an almost boozy, dried-fruit character. On skin it is powerful and easily lasts until the next morning. Autumn is when we love it most, for dinner or a night out.
