Elysium Absolue Pour Femme

Inspiration
Elysium Absolue Pour Femme introduces a new and more sensual chapter to the Elysium Universe. While the earlier feminine Elysium creations each explore a different floral signature, this fragrance places the rose firmly at the centre of the composition. Roja Dove and perfumer Julie Lerendu created a rich interpretation of rose that is intended to feel feminine, sensual, multifaceted and opulent.

The fragrance opens with raspberry, lychee, fig and cassis, creating a juicy and luminous introduction. These fruity facets give the rose a sense of volume and freshness while keeping the composition sophisticated rather than simply sweet.

At the heart, rose takes centre stage, surrounded by ylang ylang, tuberose and neroli. These flowers give the rose different dimensions, from creamy and sensual to luminous and expressive.

The base introduces a deeper and more luxurious character through orris, ambergris, pink pepper, sandalwood, benzoin, musk, patchouli and vetiver. Elemodor Cyclescent, described as a co distillation of elemi gum and orange oil, adds a sparkling orange juice gourmand nuance to the composition.

The Signature of Elysium Absolue Pour Femme
The signature of Elysium Absolue Pour Femme lies in the contrast between a lush, sensual rose and a richly textured base. Juicy fruits give the opening brightness and volume, while tuberose and ylang ylang make the floral heart fuller and more sensual.

The base transforms the fragrance further, introducing the powdery character of orris, the creamy warmth of sandalwood, the earthy depth of patchouli and vetiver, and the sensual softness of musk and ambergris.

Rather than presenting rose as a traditional romantic flower, Elysium Absolue gives it greater depth, texture and presence. The result is a sophisticated floral composition that moves between opulence, sensuality, luminosity and softness.

What our ParfuMaria team thinks of this fragrance
We consider Elysium Absolue Pour Femme one of the most intriguing new additions to the Elysium Universe. What particularly impresses us is the way Roja approaches rose here: not as a conventional romantic rose, but as a rich and sensual central material with considerable depth.

The combination of fig, lychee, raspberry and cassis gives the opening a juicy character before the rose gradually becomes more prominent. Tuberose and ylang ylang add a lush floral dimension, while the base of orris, sandalwood, patchouli, vetiver, benzoin, musk and ambergris gives the fragrance its unmistakably luxurious finish.

This is a fragrance to experience on the skin rather than simply judge from the note list. For lovers of sophisticated rose fragrances, luxury niche perfumery and expressive feminine florals, Elysium Absolue Pour Femme deserves particular attention.
