The Signature of Dubai Musk
The opening is fresh without turning cool. Bergamot and black currant lend a lightly fruity brightness, yet the musk is present from the very first second, smoothing every edge. In the heart magnolia unfolds, a flower with a creamy, almost lemony softness, while mandarin adds a small point of light and sandalwood brings warmth. The base revolves around musk and hedione. Hedione is a jasmine-like aroma material prized above all for its effect: it adds air and transparency, as if space opens up between the notes. Together with the musk it creates a tender skin scent, like clean cotton still warm from the sun.

In the shop we quickly agree on Dubai Musk: this is the scent you give to someone whose taste you do not quite know. It is friendly, well groomed and never intrusive. Our favourite moment comes about half an hour after applying, once the fruity start has settled and something creamy and floral is left behind. Because it sits so close to the body, the house recommends spraying generously, clothes included, and we can only agree. For the office, a long working day or a summer afternoon on a terrace it is ideal. Anyone who likes to play with fragrance can also wear it as a soft base under a bolder perfume; in that role musk does exactly what you ask of it.
