Dear Karma is one of the brand's most literary scents. The absinthe is bitter and herbal, yet the sugar cube is there too: that spun sugar makes it seductive without making it sweet. Saffron and myrrh lend a warm, church-like sheen, and the leather comes strongly forward after a few hours. We wear it on dark evenings with a black turtleneck. A perfume for those who love Baudelaire, or simply a good story.
