Inspiration
Setting sail from Venice, the Muda di Siria followed the eastern shores of the Mediterranean, calling at legendary ports such as Cyprus, Beirut, Aleppo and Laiazzo. Along this route, roses, precious woods and resins such as storax reached the Serenissima, together with cotton and sugar. Cyprus Shell captures the salty breeze of the island where Aphrodite rose from the sea.
