Inspiration
Cologne One is Escentric Molecules' first cologne and captures the freshness of a gin and tonic in a single sparkling gesture: effervescent, bright and unmistakably clean. Geza Schoen describes it as the moment your nose dips into the glass, the first prickling impression of juniper and lime. The house sees the composition as a cologne reimagined: an eighteenth-century idea brought back to freshness, transparency and simplicity, yet with a presence a classic eau de cologne rarely has. At a 15% concentration, the freshness lasts without ever becoming overwhelming.

The Signature of Cologne One
The fragrance lives in its top notes. Juniper stands for the gin, lime and citrus give lift, bergamot and mandarin bring softness and a whisper of ginger adds a delicate spiciness. Cucumber is deliberately kept neutral: it sharpens the crispness without becoming literal. The heart stays understated; iris, rose and hedione offer just enough structure to let the citrus glow linger. The drydown is linear and calm, built on the house's two hero molecules, Iso E Super from Molecule 01 and Ambroxan from Molecule 02, with a trace of musk that adds space and diffusion. Nothing competes, nothing distracts.
What our ParfuMaria team thinks of this fragrance
Cologne One has the lightness of a classic cologne, but not its fleeting nature. We appreciate how restrained the gin and tonic idea remains: not a cocktail, but that clear, cool first sip. A fresh fragrance that wears calmly, from a warm morning to a long summer evening.
