Inspiration
Carbonara celebrates the dish that established Lorenzo Pazzaglia as a chef, and with it the beauty of sitting down at the table together: a celebration of Italian life. The sparkling opening with three kinds of pepper captures the cheerful anticipation just before everyone takes a seat. Soft notes recreate the creaminess of the dish and the sense of well-being that comes with good company. Carbonara is part of the Self Portrait Collection.

Pink, black and Malabar pepper together form a lively, spicy overture, joined by elemi and a light touch of smoke. In the heart, coconut, davana and rhum bring a creamy, slightly fruity softness that translates the texture of the dish without becoming literal. Jasmine keeps it airy. In the base, amber, cane sugar, bourbon vanilla, agarwood and sandalwood melt into a warm, rounded glow with an unexpected woody depth.
