Then the scent warms: iris and violet form a velvety, powdery heart, wrapped in fruity, creamy sweetness reminiscent of melted caramel and satin lipstick. Candy from Strangers moves us with its balance between bergamot and amber accord: refined, without ever becoming loud. On the skin the scent opens with bergamot and green mandarin, bright and inviting during the first half hour. Then iris and violet take over and the composition reveals its true character. After three to four hours it settles into amber accord and patchouli, a soft, personal finish that lingers well into the day on skin and clothing. We like to wear it best in autumn and winter, in the evening and at dinner. A scent for those who love sweet iris with a leathery, seductive edge.
