Inspiration
California, with its coastline and hills bathed in light, served as the model for California Rêverie. Van Cleef & Arpels wanted to capture the beauty of a landscape that stands in the sun all day.

California Rêverie makes us think of a white linen dress and bare feet on a terrace. The jasmine is full, without the heavy, heady side some people associate with white flowers. After an hour it turns skin-like and warm, as if you had spent the whole afternoon outdoors. One of us wears it almost daily in summer. Lovely too for an open-air wedding, where it stays pleasantly present all day.
