Inspiration
Burlington 1819 bears the name of the Burlington Arcade in Mayfair, the address of the Roja boutique. Roja Dove describes the scent as a citrus Eau de Parfum that opens with a juicy burst of grapefruit and lime, lifted by mint, after which ginger and rum carry the energy into a fresh amber accord.

The Signature of Burlington 1819
Officially Burlington 1819 has only top and base notes, with no separate heart. You can feel it in the structure: the citrus of grapefruit, lime, mandarin and bitter orange passes almost directly into a spicy, warm base. Ginger, cinnamon, cumin and saffron add sparks, patchouli and Casmir wood add body, and tobacco and benzoin wrap everything in a soft, slightly sweet blanket.

For us Burlington 1819 is a scent with two faces. The first minutes are fresh and tingling, with a mojito-like pairing of lime and mint. After half an hour rum and tobacco appear and it turns warm, almost like a cocktail bar with leather chairs. That warm amber side lingers for hours. We like it all year, but especially on spring days that turn into cool evenings. Fresh at the start, warm at the finish: that is its appeal.
