Bois Doré is the scent we recommend to couples who want to share one. It is soft, yet not sweet enough to put anyone off. For the first quarter of an hour it smells like warm bread with an almond crust; later the wood takes over and it grows calmer. It stays neatly close to the skin, which makes it office-friendly too. We reach for it as soon as the days shorten, often with a turtleneck and a cup of coffee.
