Inspiration
In Kakadu, in Australia's far north, morning light burns off the mist and dew rises from forests of eucalyptus and cypress. Dimitri Weber asked François Merle-Baudoin to capture that moment around blue cypress, a rare native oil with a cool, faintly smoky wood tone.

The Signature of Blue Cypress
Blue cypress takes centre stage from the first second, resinous and fresh at once. Bulgarian lavender makes it herbal and clean, while clove and star anise wrap a gentle warmth around it. Indonesian patchouli keeps everything close to the ground.
What our ParfuMaria team thinks of this fragrance
Blue Cypress is the calmest scent of the house to us. It smells of an early walk, cold hands and a flask of coffee. After an hour the wood softens and the anise steps forward a little, without ever turning sweet. Its moment is autumn, or a crisp winter day. Lovely for people who love lavender but want it a different way.
