Spirit of Kings links every collection to a virtue of kingship. Bliss belongs to the Generosity Collection. The house describes it as a fragrance for those who find beauty in balance, refined details and the warmth of timeless elegance. Not a grand gesture, then, but the richness of something given with care and without haste: modern, elegant and harmonious, in the brand's own words.

The Signature of Bliss
Bliss opens like a first breath on the coast. The marine accord is airy and, as the house puts it, has a subtle salty quality: not cold seawater, but the mineral freshness of wind passing over sun-warmed stone. Cardamom sets a bright, spicy counterpoint. This spice is olfactively remarkable because it feels cool and warm at once, with an almost eucalyptus-like freshness above a soft, resinous spiciness. It is precisely that ambiguity that makes the passage from sea to wood so seamless.
Gradually Bliss reveals its woody depth. Cedarwood gives the heart a dry, straight backbone, like the clean lines of polished wood. Around it unfolds the refinement the fragrance is built on. Violet brings a powdery, faintly green softness, while Taif rose from the Saudi highlands adds a delicate, spicy floralcy that is less sweet than many other roses. Leather lends texture and character, and the house speaks of smoky nuances adding depth. Aromaspace, a modern aroma material from the official note list, contributes to the spacious, contemporary radiance of the heart.
In the base, Bliss chooses warmth and softness. Musk lays a skin-like glow over the composition, amber warms, and Sandalwave, a modern sandalwood note, adds a creamy, milky woodiness. Tonka bean rounds it off with its soft, almond- and hay-like sweetness. What began as sea air ends as a warm, refined skin scent, still carrying a trace of salt and spice that keeps the trail luminous.
What our ParfuMaria team thinks of this fragrance
What struck us immediately about Bliss is how little it imposes itself, and how much it still tells. Marine fragrances can quickly become predictable, but here the salty accord feels more like light than water. Cardamom gives the opening an elegant edge, and once cedarwood, violet and leather come forward, the scent takes on something of a well-cut jacket: sharp, yet supple. The Taif rose is restrained, adding sheen rather than floralcy. On skin Bliss stays polished and harmonious, with a drydown of amber, musk and creamy wood that we kept returning to. A fragrance for all seasons, fresh enough for a summer day by the sea and warm enough for an autumn evening, and a beautiful choice for anyone who loves modern, refined and unaffected. One of the most versatile scents in the Spirit of Kings range.
