Inspiration
In Italy he is called Nero Divino, and the name says a great deal. Teatro Fragranze Uniche of Florence sets light and dark side by side here, as on a stage. Calabrian bergamot, Sicilian orange and lemon enter with berries and strawberry grape. Then the lights dim: Russian leather, incense, Madagascan black pepper and elemi. Cedar, sandalwood, bamboo, vetiver, white musk and vanilla close the piece.

The Signature of Black Divine
First that fruit, almost candy red, then suddenly the smoke of incense and the smell of an old leather glove. Black pepper pricks through. Below, the wood stays soft with a hint of vanilla.
What our ParfuMaria team thinks of this fragrance
Black Divine is the kind of perfume that makes customers in the shop go quiet for a moment. That first juicy citrus with berries is not what you expect from such a dark flacon, and precisely that contrast makes it so seductive. After fifteen minutes the leather moves forward, supple rather than rough, with incense like a thin wisp of smoke. We find it at its most beautiful after a few hours, when cedar and vanilla take over and the skin smells warm, almost like cashmere. It lingers in a scarf; you still smell it the next morning. For us an evening scent, for a premiere, a candlelit dinner or a long walk through the city in December.
