Inspiration
Bishra means good news. In the Gulf it is the moment the date palms bear the first fruit of summer and families gather beneath the fronds. Dhaher Bin Dhaher translated those afternoons into spices, warm coffee and the sweet smell of fruit ripening in the heat.
Fragrance Family
Oriental and spicy
The Olfactive Composition
Top notes: Ginger, cardamom, cinnamon
Heart notes: Fir balsam, nutmeg, clary sage
Base notes: Sandalwood, hazelnut, gourmand accord
The Signature of Bishra
Ginger and cardamom leap out, cinnamon follows with a sweet glow. Fir balsam and clary sage add a resinous, green breath. Underneath, sandalwood and hazelnut melt into something that recalls biscuits with coffee.
What our ParfuMaria team thinks of this fragrance
Bishra is the Tola that most often leaves our shelf again. It starts spicy and lively, with ginger giving your nose a quick shake, and after a quarter of an hour the fir balsam appears, surprising and almost festive. The best moment comes later, when the hazelnut moves forward and the skin smells of a bowl of roasted nuts beside a cup of cardamom coffee. It is sweet without being sticky and wears easily through a full working day. We reach for it on cold mornings, or to coax a compliment out of someone in the lift. Men and women here choose it equally often.
