Inspiration
Berbera is an amber woody incense with the finest gum extracts from Somaliland. The same grade of incense was extracted in three different ways and blended into a continuous, vertical narrative. In the Middle East such a scent is also often layered with other perfumes.

The Signature of Berbera
Spicy incense meets resinous elemi, nutmeg and black pepper. At the heart leathery, powdery incense enhances warm myrrh, before ambery incense gums and Somali opoponax give a powerful, long-lasting finish.

For us, Berbera is a scent with a quiet confidence of its own: deep, mysterious and understated. On the skin the scent opens with incense and elemi, bright and inviting during the first half hour. Then incense and myrrh take over and the composition reveals its true character. After three to four hours it settles into incense and amber, a soft, personal finish that lingers well into the day on skin and clothing. We like to wear it best in autumn and winter, on cool evenings and at dinner. A scent for lovers of pure incense and resins.
